The argument is, if you're afflicted by some personal inadequacy
that you can't remedy, and you try to relieve your unhappiness by
pursuing something else, no amount of that something else will
satisfy you. You can never get enough of it.
Donald Trump can never accumulate enough power to satisfy himself.
(I don't know who wrote the quote in the Subject line. I thought
it was by Eric Hoffer, but it's not in his Wikiquote page.)
