I know that logic dictates that in newsgroups on astronomy such as alt.astronomy and sci.astro there is more than one of them. So it is not logical to suggest that one is the only one by choosing that as one's pseudonym.

Impossible. Spock would know not to crosspost to 3 newsgroups without Followup-To using an invalid From header field -- not violating the Prime Directive aside ;-)
